The problem is, hedge apples deteriorate rather quickly, often leaving an unsightly mess. Now you can enjoy their lovely, quirky natural beauty for as long as you wish with these true-to-life hedge apples made of concrete.
Using real hedge apples for our molds, we hand cast each one using fiber-reinforced polymer concrete, resulting in authentic fruits that are as unique as those produced by Mother Nature herself. They are then hand stained individually with a product that is scientifically color matched to a real hedge apple fresh from the tree. Slight variations in the surface texture occur as we produce each piece in our studio, so that your hedge apple is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art. Large sizes range from 4-1/4” to 5-1/2” in diameter. Medium sizes are 3" to 4" in diameter. Display them in groups for impressive decorator accents, or singly on your desk as a paper weight or conversation piece. Our hedge apples are made entirely in the USA, and while they won’t protect you from spiders as myths would have us believe of the real fruit, they will provide you with lasting natural-looking elements for your home or office.
